Safety Officer

 The Randolph Police Safety Officer performs a wide variety of duties. 

They are not limited to the residents of Randolph, but for the benefit

of the business and professional community as well.

This office provides a range of safety programs dealing with

everyone's needs.  From our youth to our senior citizens the

Safety Officer handles the Neighborhood Crime Watch

and Crime Prevention programs.  He offers bicycle and train safety

programs at the town's schools.  A major part of the Safety Officer

position includes traffic control, enforcement, and safe driving

procedures. S.O. Robert LeGrice works in close combination with the

Juvenile Detectives and the D.A.R.E. Officers and assist with ongoing projects. 

He also spend a great deal of time assisting the Patrol Force and provides

assistance to the Detective Bureau. The Safety Officers are available to

discuss with any individual or organization matters that are of concern to the

public safety.
