Missing Person Report
Missing person reports are either
taken by a Police Officer at the
reporting person's address or one
may enter the police station to file the report.
A person does not have to missing
for a specific amount of time to be
put out missing.
When a person is entered out missing all officers on
duty are notify. Additionally
officers not on duty at the time are notified
when they begin the first day of
duty as long as the person is still missing.
The missing persons information
is also entered on C.H.S.B.
( Criminal History Systems Board
) and N.C.I.C ( FBI data base ). This
will allow all other agencies to
identify a missing person if they
become in contact with the
missing.
The more information given will
increase the potential of locating a
missing person.
