K9 Rony, a Patrol K9 and his handler Officer Geoffrey Lucas have been working together for the past 7 years. Rony attended a 16 week academy and is certified to assist patrol in various aspects of police work. The most common functions of the Patrol K9 are:

K9 Nero, a certified single purpose passive indicator narcotic detection dog, and his handler Officer Stephen Morse have been working together for the past 7 years. Nero is certified to detect and locate:
- - Marijuana
- - Cocaine
- - Heroin
- - And other narcotics
Nero is tasked to patrol, but is also used in school searches, drug raids and motor vehicle stops.
